Impromptu Radio Interview

For those of you who like to listen to me instead of deciphering those little black squiggly things, (Who wouldn’t, amiright?) I had an impromptu interview this morning on a local AM radio station. I talked about Champion Standing, as well as other works, and clued listeners in on how to find me on Saturday at the Phoenix Comicon.

Here’s the audio:

Mark, great interview! You come across as very likable while discussing your books and engaging in general conversation with the interviewer. I wish there had been more of you and less of him. Everytime I was interested to hear what you had to say, the interviewer inserted his own observations or jokes into the conversation. Even so, I say it’s a great interview because he was obviously interested in your work and supportive, and it gave you some great exposure. Congratuations!

A green squid hat, huh? Would like to see a photo of that! :D

Reblogged this on Odyssey of a Novice Writer and commented:
Friend, fellow blogger and prolific writer, Mark Gardner, was interviewed on an Arizona radio station about his work. For those of you familiar with Mark, you’ll enjoy hearing what he had to say. For those unfamiliar with him, you’ll want to check out his fiction. He has some interesting sci-fi / dystopian novels available on Amazon. Check out his blog, people! He posts a lot of free fiction there, as well.

Congrats on the interview, Mark – well done.

Congrats, Mark! Wow. We are neighbors. I’m in the Verde Valley. Very cool interview and good luck with your writing career. :)

    Great interview, Mark!

I’m with Kate, I would rather have heard more of your voice rather than the guy interviewing you. You have a lovely deep voice, I think your accent’s fantastic too! <3
